Thanks for coming to my site! 

About me

I’ve dabbled in a number of careers over the years, including stock brokerage, building custom homes, commercial real estate sales and scrubbing into surgery to demonstrate surgical stapling techniques, but I always came back to my college intern roots, real estate appraisal.  I live it, breathe it---it’s who I am. 

I’ve taken many a “bus-driver’s holiday” to cities throughout the United States and am always fascinated by economics, politics, and the dynamics that drive real estate values.   

But,  I also have other loves in my life:  a love of the outdoors: hiking, hunting, golfing, skiing….which motivated me to move from my home in Central California of 30 years to beautiful, active Bend, Oregon.  You can actually breathe the incredibly clean air! 

Then, there is my lust for history, classical music, playing the piano, and, of yes, flying. 

With my wife, Terry, and Sassy, my German shorthair pointer, at my side, we count ourselves blessed to live in such beauty and grandeur. Two cats, Mister and Menace, keep us centered as to who serves who. 

What’s not to love about this life!
